The COP26 climate conference recently concluded and helped put into place measures that are aimed at abating the damage done by climate change.
Twinkl, a UK based company and one of the world's largest creators of educational resources, wanted to start a conversation about climate change among children the world over. Hence, over the past few weeks, Twinkl invited parents, teachers, and guardians of children and students to participate in an international classroom activity for COP26. This activity involved hundreds of children drawing what the world will look like in the next 50 years, and what their ideal world would look like.
The drawings proved to be impactful and poignant, as children drew about myriad environmental concerns including deforestation, drought, pollution, rising sea levels, etc.
The best drawings made by children from India can be found here.
As long as there are concerned and conscientious children around the world, who are fearless enough to take on industrial giants and demand change, we know that the world is in safe hands.
